I was born in India and moved frequently growing up due to my dad's work — living across Michigan, Ohio, New Jersey, London, and India — before eventually spending most of my life in Nashville. Being exposed to different places, people, and environments early on shaped how I think about systems, incentives, and how organizations operate in different contexts.

I've always been drawn to business — not because of a single defining moment, but because I found it interesting to observe how different businesses operated and think through the strategy behind them. I started with small ventures like lemonade stands and lawn mowing in middle school, and later built my first scalable business in high school. These early experiences made me realize how much I enjoyed building things from scratch and learning through execution.

After departing Oaklet, I went back to the drawing board and reflected on industries I cared deeply about. Education stood out immediately. For how different everyone is — how they learn, what motivates them, and how they process information — expecting a normalized system of education to work effectively seemed inherently flawed. That realization led me to start building Ascera.

I started Ascera to create a more adaptive and personalized learning system powered by AI — one that adjusts to individuals rather than forcing individuals to adjust to the system. Today, Ascera has a waitlist open, and I'm working closely with a closed beta user who participates in multiple weekly sessions, helping refine and shape the platform through real usage.

Alongside Ascera, I'm exploring Operator Advisory, an initiative focused on helping SMBs identify operational inefficiencies, reduce costs, and improve margins. I remain industry-agnostic, though I'm particularly interested in home services and restaurants — industries where operational optimization and better systems can create meaningful improvements quickly.
